PROJECT: BAYSIDE FORESHORE MASTERPLAN
LOCATION: BRIGHTON BEACH, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
CLIENT: CITY OF BRIGHTON (Now Bayside)
COLLABORATION: HERITAGE VICTORIA, ECOLOGY AUSTRALIA

Preparation of landscape masterplan for the foreshore section of Port Phillip Bay under the jurisdiction of the former City of Brighton (now Bayside) from Elsternwick, and Brighton Beach, extending to Sandringham. This study introduced the shared footway system to this length of the foreshore; and instigated the restoration and reuse of the Brighton Baths pavilion as a successful restaurant and vibrant foreshore café. The plan included the detail design of several foreshore precincts, including the North Road Shipwreck playground. It also included the detailed documentation of the revegetation planting program for major sections of the foreshore, for revegetation with local indigenous coastal species.
