PROJECT: CRANBOURNE BOTANIC GARDENS ‘HORTISAURUS’
LOCATION: CRANBOURNE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
CLIENT: ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS
Detailed landscape design for a ‘vignette garden’ within the Cranbourne Australian Botanic Gardens, with an emphasis on use by children. The whole design was based around recycled river red gum timber, which was salvaged from forest industry waste. The main feature is a ‘hortisaurus’ dragon-like climbing structure which is constructed of red gum tree stags.
