PROJECT: NANCHANG HOTEL TOURISM PRECINCT
LOCATION: NANCHANG, JIANGXI, CHINA

Landscape masterplanning and design for a major resort set on the picturesque foreshore of Qingshan Hu ( Lake). Included a detail site investigation and land modelling exercise, and visual assessment.
The project included a range of hotel types from family hotel complex, to 4 star, 5 star and ‘6 star’ hotels, and subsequently a range of landscape design responses.
It also includes a lake edge tourist entertainment and bar street, with a lake edge ferry harbour. The entire length of the lakeside precinct was integrated into a linear open space system, linked with a foreshore shared footway and exercise trail system.
