PROJECT: RIPPONLEA HISTORIC MANSION AND GARDEN MASTERPLAN
LOCATION: RIPPONLEA, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA
CLIENT: NATIONAL TRUST OF AUSTRALIA (Victoria)
Preparation of site masterplan for this iconic historic mansion; and detail design for significant elements of the gardens upgrade. Included a complete refurbishment of the historic cast iron gates and replacement of the cast iron picket fence, opening up vistas into the gardens from the busy road frontage, which had not been visible for generations. Also included designs for a secret children’s garden; and proposals to refurbish the existing historic outbuildings, and to improve carpark access.
