Detailed design for our joint winning concept from an international design competition for this large commercial project. The striking integrated coloured pixelation theme for both the building and landscape transitions with a grid of cool lush green at the park end of the site, to warm autumn colours at the urban end of the site. The design includes highly resolved entry plazas; streetscape interfaces; water features; with attention to detail for street and site furniture; signage; lighting; banner poles; and sub-tropical planting themes which reflect the colour pixilation theme. This theme is also extended through the landscape with stone colours and patterns. The design included the careful retention and relocation of several enormous 15 metre high Banyan trees on the site, which add enormous instant visual impact.
