PROJECT: XIN BEI NATIONAL FOREST PARK
LOCATION: CHINA, JIANGSU, CHANGZHOU, XIN BEI
CLIENT: CHANGZHOU XIN BEI GOVERNMENT
Detailed landscape concept plan for a new 10 kilometre long, linear National Forest Park. The design included the architectural design of the main visitor interpretation centre; a forest research administration centre; a forest gallery for local wood craft; and a wetland interpretation centre. The landscape design included a ‘four-seasons’ central parkland, surrounded by the extensive reafforestion woodland areas, and the integration and upgrade of an existing local village, as a display and visitor farm with accommodation for urban school groups and city dwellers.
